Software Quality Services Pty Ltd is a Melbourne-based, licensed labour hire and recruitment company built by QA practitioners, for QA practitioners. We connect SQS-reviewed software testing professionals with employers and recruitment agencies across Australia — through a marketplace that puts verification, privacy and compliance first.

Our Story

Built from inside the industry

SQS was founded by a hands-on QA professional with deep experience in enterprise testing — from Ellucian Banner student management systems and large university transformation programs to test automation with Playwright, Selenium and TypeScript.

We saw a recurring problem: employers drowning in unSQS-reviewed CVs, agencies unable to technically assess QA candidates, and skilled testers invisible to the market. So we built a different model — a curated marketplace where every candidate is reviewed by SQS by senior QA engineers, and presented anonymously until an interview is requested.

As a licensed labour hire provider in Victoria, we don't just introduce people — we manage the whole engagement: contracts, payroll, superannuation and compliance.
